My almost 4 year old daughter is very insistent on having a PINK spiderman party for her birthday in April. Any and all ideas for this type of party would be FABULOUS! Thank you!

how elaborate are you wanting to go??

You could get some pink fabric and make a cape for the birthday girl or even better for all the guests. Here's a free pattern...super easy to make (though I'd use velcro around the neck for safety reasons) http://www.sewing.org/enthusiast/html/eo_sew_cape.html

I'd probably grab some spiderwebs like the kind used around halloween time and hang them everywhere, then put some christmas lights inside some of the webs (if it's safe!) and have most of the lights off for a cute spidery effect...i guess you could spray paint the spiderweb pink if you wanted too also. A spiderman cd playing in the background would add even more of a special effect.

pink cupcakes with a spider on top would be darling or sugar cookies with a pink spider web.

if your pretty printable savvy you could make some darling pink placemats and laminate them (clear contact paper works great!) then send home with each kiddo.

A small spray bottle of silly string with a cute 'Thanks for swingin' by' and your dd's name below label put on each one would be a cute favor also (large address labels work great for that)

good luck!!!

That is an awesomly cool idea!!

get some valetine m& m's pull the pink & white ones out, put those in little spider web print bags.

capes can pretty easily be made out of inexpensive bath towles too.

maybe cut pink felt into strips & sew or glue on velcro to make cuffs to fit the girls wrists. then let them glue on spiders that oyu have cut out.

get the thick "ouchless rubber bands" sew a pink felt cicle on & a felt or plastic spider.
