Here's a simple project that I did using ArmourEtch cream, some sticker letters and contact paper!
I found the instructions here:
http://www.creatinghomedecor.com/conversationalglasses.htm

And these are the things I ended up making.  I rate this project a 10 for easy and fast!

Thanks for the compliments!

I would assume it's ok to use for candles...  I don't see why it wouldn't be.

Ok those have just been added to my next weekend off project. Sooo cool. My DD is turning 13 in a week and shes having a slumber party...those would be so cute to make for the girls to take home and remember the "The best slumber party in the history of slumber parites" (her words not mine) LOL Yours look fab. I love that plate. Did you just use a regular clear glass plate?

I love you. And not, not in a friendly way, although I think we're great friends. And not in a misplaced affection, puppy-dog way, although I'm sure that's what you'll call it. I love you. Very, very simple, very truly. You are the epitome of everything I have ever looked for in another human being.

Thanks, yes.. clear glass plates.  I think Anchor hocking (?) makes them.  And if you have a Kmart in your area the Martha Stewart collection sells boxes of 12 (plates only or bowls only or umm, I think little salad plates) for like 9.99.  Quite the bargain since Walmart sells each piece for about 2 bucks.

Hello,

Can you tell me exactly where to get the materials at? i went to Michaels and look for the etching cream and clear contact paper but had no luck. I really want to try to make these so could you please help? This is my first time trying to be crafty so I don't know a lot about tools and materials needed. Thanks
