Okay, so I made a ''long'' wallet.  I used an old dress shirt of my husband's and an old sheet for the inside fabric.  I used the shirt material and quilted the outside fabric.  There is a zipper pocket with two pockets behind it for cash, receipts and my pocket calender.  Smiley  I made six card compartments.  I could've made a pocket behind this part but I decided the wallet would be sturdier without it nor did I really need the extra pocket.  All in all I'm pretty happy with it...I just realized afterwards that I should've made my closure flap longer.  I used a magnetic snap btw.

That fabric makes a great wallet.  Your zipper looks perfect.  It's great that you could customize the wallet just for you.  I like it.

That is a lovely wallet! Smiley I cannot sew but I LOVE purses/totes/handbags/makeup bags/wallets, so I am here in this forum to admire everyone's work. Wink

Thank you for the nice compliments!  You should check out babyangel's walletalong...I think it was started by craftydeb...anyway, there are lots of great wallets on that thread.
