gallery already Shocked

"That's my lab table and this is my work-stool. And over there is my intergalactic spaceship! And here's where I keep assorted lengths of wire."

...oh, if it wasn't clear, I'm rarely completely serious. Smiley

I'm so excited! I came home from work to wait for my new laptop to arrive. The mailman, as the DHL guy walks up, says, "Oh, and you have a package too." That's when I realize it's my first craftster swap package! I opened it immediately...the laptop (which is VERY exciting too) is still in the box. Here's a picture of it all:

I received from oneredboot:
an AMAZING totebag that is done in denim and a very fun retro print that is totally my style
a very fun sewn bookmark, made of many different fabrics
a book for me: A Year in Provence, which is just up my alley
a book for my kiddo: The Big Book of Wild Animals, which is sure to elicit some ROARS when he gets home. He's fascinated with big cats and wild animals right now, so this is perfect
a note card, which I have flipped to the front in the picture because it's so fun. I want to hang it up at work.

Thank you so much!!! This is awesome!

mountaingrrl:  i'm SO glad you like the package!  Yay!  The bag is from a Lotta Jansdotter pattern, and I was really pleased with how it turned out!  I was especially proud of the seams covered with red bias tape--it makes the inside so cheerful!  Smiley

mountaingrrl, you got a fantastic package! I, too, am lovin' the Wild Animals book! And, the fabrics on the bag and bookmark are fantastic! Nice job oneredboot!

Rats, there goes my goal of being the first to send  Wink

That is some seriously awesome stuff - I would have opened that before the laptop, too.  That tote is just beautiful
