All swappers MUST be pre-approved for this swap!

This is a finished item swap. Post a "shop" of at least 5 items for everyone else in the swap to choose from. All items should be finished and hand crafted. They do not necessarily need to be crafted by you,but do keep in mind that this should primarily be a shop of your handcrafted items! Please credit the creator by NAME for items you did not make. Supply option you can also post up to 4 supply items (non-crafted) Keep these items at the end of your shop.

What is a shop?
A shop is a post in this thread, listing the items that you have available to be claimed. As long as you can post a list of items, with pictures if at all possible, you have a swap shop! You can also manage your shop pictures on your own picture hosting and just post links in your shop post. It's up to you to keep your shop as up to date as possible by removing items that have been claimed (transfer pictures to the gallery) and posting any new items you want to add. Items in your shop should all have a 'price' between 1 and 3 points. Make sure it's clear how much each item costs and use a recognizable title if you can (for example: green sparkly scarf if there are more than one green sparkly scarf # 1)

- The majority of the posts in this thread should be shops. That's what we all want to see, right? So let's try and keep all the discussion over here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=224411.msg2426412.0

- When you claim an item, pm all 3 organizers (alteredmommy, lapoli, xladyluckx) AND the person you claim from. Claims will be first come, first served. The first person to send a PM to all four of the proper people IN THE PROPER FORMAT will get the item.
- Rather than keeping track of the number of claims, like the other ongoing swaps, we will be using a point system for this swap.
- When someone claims an item on your list and is confirmed by an organizer, you are responsible for removing that item from your shop post. There is a gallery that you can transfer your pictures to, see below for the link.
- When you send and receive an item, PM all 3 organizers (alteredmommy, lapoli and xladyluckx) AND the person who sent it to you.
- DC# are required on an object that is eligible for one if sending internationally please keep your postal receipt until your item is received.  If your item has not been received within a reasonable time (3-4 weeks domestic; 4-5 weeks international) an angel can be arranged if you have a DC# or postal receipt.  If not you will be required to remake or offer something else from your shop and resend.

Here are the most important things you need to know about your points:
-all persons NEW to the swap get 3 points to spend to start with; swappers from previous Shop the Swaps (from Round 2 to now) carry over their points to the next month they sign up for.  Round 1 had a different point structure, please let us know if that was the only STS round you were in.
- if you plan on leaving the swap at the end of the month please spend down your points to 3, you must leave the swap with the same 3 points you started with!!.
- Every time someone claims an item from your shop, you get the price of the item in points. ****You cannot spend your points until you have physically SENT the item and pmd the proper people****
- Every time you claim an item from someone else's shop you spend the amount of points in the price of the item.
- Once you have +7 points (TOTAL of current and pending), your shop will be temporarily closed for business until you have less than 5 points. Please edit your shop post to put 'CLOSED' in large bold letters to make it clear to everyone when your shop is closed. There will also be a list near the top of the thread with all the closed shops.
- Once you have 0 points, you can't claim any items until you have at least 1 point.
- The organizers will keep a running point total at the top of the thread, but you should keep track at the bottom of your shop as well. All claims from you and that you make for this round only must be listed there.
Please use this format:

Claims from me:
list all claims made to your shop

Claims I have made
list all claims you have made to other shops

Started with: (how many points you started this round with)
Current: (how many spendable points you currently have)
Pending: (how many points you have from pending claims that you have not sent yet)
TOTAL: (the total of current and pending points-if this total is 7 or more you must CLOSE your shop until you can ship/spend down to 5 points or less)

PLEASE PM THE ORGANIZERS alteredmommy, xladyluckx, lapoli WITH THE FOLLOWING

How many points do I start with?
If this is your first round, you start with 3 points but you cannot spend these points until you have your shop opened!! If you were part of a previous round you'll start with a number of points based on how many points you had at the end of your last round.

Do I have to post pictures?
It's not required, but it's strongly encouraged. Good pictures will make people more likely to claim your items!

What size items should be in my shop? What size goes with what price?
You can put any size items in your shop, and you can charge whatever price is fair. If you really need a guideline, try small for 1 point, medium for 2 points, large for 3 points. But feel free to judge by other criteria like the expense of the materials, how much you enjoy making the item, how popular the item seems to be, etc.

Why does my shop close when I have 7 points? (TOTAL of current AND pending)
When you have 7 points, it means you've had several more claims against your shop than you have made yourself. We want to make sure that no one gets shortchanged, so once several items have been claimed from your list, your shop will be 'closed' until you catch up on claiming some things for yourself. We also want to make sure no one is 'hoarding' points, so we want you to spend your points and get them back out in the economy.

Why don't I get my points until I have sent my item?
There are several reasons for this. First of all, it's a good way for us to control how many claims you have going on at one time. If you don't get your points until your items are sent, you can't have a bunch of packages waiting to be shipped and still be making claims. It will also help protect our swap from anyone who might flake by not allowing them to make lots of claims if they aren't shipping their items. And it'll encourage everyone to ship on time, or even faster, so that they can get their points! We aren't waiting until items are received, because that will make it very difficult for international craftsters to participate in the swap.

What can I put in my shop post?
Can I put a wishlist? Can I take requests? Can I post embarassing pictures of my little brother?
The focus of your shop post, should be your shop! However, as long as you are keeping your shop the focus, and keeping it up to date, and keeping it stocked.... We don't care what you put in there! As long as you aren't breaking any rules of craftster, or any laws, go for it!

I want to do another swap, but the month isn't over, can you go ahead and give me my feedback?
In order to leave the swap early, you need to have at least as many points as you started with. You must have 3 points to leave this swap. If points are an issue after a close-out sale and posting in the thread, contact the organizers for further help. Once you do, you can go ahead and 'close' your shop. Then, after everything that had been previously claimed from you has been received, you can leave the swap and get your positive feedback.

My points/claims don't match what I think they should. Is something wrong?
If it has been more than 24 hours since you made the claim. Or if any of the organizers admit to having been drunk/sick/tired when we last updated the claims or points, go ahead and send us a PM. Otherwise, give us about 24 hours to get caught up with claims. If your claim is at least 24 hours old, and something seems wrong, feel free to send us a PM and ask. If your claim is several days old and something seems wrong PLEASE send us a PM to make sure we received the claim!

I think I have 7 points but you only show me with 6, am I closed? OR I think I have 6 points but you show me with 7, am I open? OR Why are my points still pending, I sent those items?
In general, if you have recently changed your points, you're probably right and the point total is probably out of date. When in doubt, it's fine to go with what you think your status is. It doesn't hurt to include a little note in any PM's you send letting us know, just in case there is an issue. (For example, "XladyluckX just claimed my peanut butter sculpture, but your list shows my shop as closed. I claimed a couple things recently so I think I should be open and this claim should be ok.") Now, since you are the person who is the most up to date on your own point total, help us out!! Please close your shop when you know you're at 7 points. Also, feel free to re-open your shop when you know you are at 5 points. And, if you've sent us a PM saying you sent items, go ahead and spend the points, even if they still show as pending points on the list.

What do I need to say in my PM's to the organizers??
please remember to include the send by date (one week from the claim date) in your send and receive pms

When claiming it needs to come to us looking like this:

make sure the To: box includes ALL the proper people in your pm ALL the organizers and the person you are claiming from/sending to/receiving from We need to see ONE message with everyones name on it to be valid! (hint- put quotes around each name except the last one you type)

When you claim it needs to look like this:
Subject: Shop the Swap 3 - CLAIM
xladyluckx to raynbow - sheepy soap - (1 pt)
dont forget your name and address!!

When you send it needs to look like this:
Subject: Shop the Swap 3 - SENT
Send By May 30th don't forget to put the send by date!
xladyluckx to raynbow - sheepy soap - (1)

When you receive it needs to look like this:
Subject: Shop the Swap 3 - RECEIVED
Send By May 30th once again, don't forget the send by date
xladyluckx to raynbow - sheepy soap - (1)

Claims must be in this format, or they will not be honored. If you DO NOT receive a claim in this format, please do not send the item. If you wish you can send the claimer a PM reminding them of the proper format for claims.

If you want to include a personal note in the PM as well, it's fine, but please make sure it is underneath the claim information.

You can include several claims in one post, but make sure each is listed seperately and that it is clear there are multiple claims.

Why do I have to list my claims in my shop? Aren't you keeping track of my points?
Yes! We are keeping track of your points, and in any disagreement, ours is the list that counts. But to make it easier to resolve any disagreements, we'd like to be able to compare your list of what you think you've claimed/has been claimed from you, and compare it to our list!
Also, if you keep a running list of your claims in your shop, it makes it much easier for people to look at your shop and figure out if you are open or closed, when the points list hasn't been updated in the last 5 minutes! Please see the first post about format!!

Questions??? just ask!!
alteredmommy general questions/help, feedback from shop the swap 7,8,9, 10

let it be known i have an 90lb dog that likes to sit on soft things and a 14lb cat that likes my yarn.  i am in north carolina.

Please note that due to the popularity of these soaps, I am making extra batches as needed.  Your soap may not be exactly as pictured here, but recipes are saved and duplicated as claims come in.

COMING SOON! "Love is like a box of chocolate... soaps" for your special someone on Valentine's Day (and these won't put inches on the thighs!)

Spring Waves Hand Dyed yarn.  Soft greens and blues dyed on alpaca/acrylic blend that's wonderfully soft against the skin.  The 100g skein is approximately 120yards/110meters and is 15s=4" on US10 needles.  2 points.

Thank You Soaps! 6 in a set for 1 point.  These blue soaps are green-tea-cucumber scented, but I can do different colors/scents--PM me for a list of what's available.  Eliminate those boring-to-write thank you notes by saying "Thank You" in a way they won't forget! (Also available: a set of red, a set of green, a set of yellow, a set of orange, a set of purple... can customize scents!)  Each soap is enclosed in a clear plastic bag and closed with a paper tag so you can write your own thanks, too!  Perfect for post-holiday thank yous!

Lovely Lavender soaps. Each soap is the same, just the bar on the left shows the bottom detail.  Each soap is in a goat's milk base, scented with lavender essential oil and finished with sprinkles of dried lavender.  A very beautiful, elegant bar! Each 1/2 point.

Tranquility Bar.  Goat's milk base with dried chamomile leaves to gently exfoliate and nourish tired skin!  Scented with "Tranqulity" essential oil blend--a blend of tangerine, orange, benzoin, eucalyptus, litsea, ho wood, speariment, spanish  marjoram, cedar himalayan and sandalwood essential oils.  Each 1/2 point.

Choco-Mint Bar! This bar is very tempting to ALL senses! With cocoa powder and peppermint essential oil, this is one soap that's sure to please you! 1/2 point each.

Alphabet Soaps! Alphabet soup, alphabet soap. It's only natural you want to leave soap messages in the bathroom for others! OR, amuse yourself while in the bathtub.. Either way, these are tiny soaps (I didn't measure but I can if needed) and a set will include one of each of the alphabet and numbers 0-9.  Can't spell Craftster, but you COULD spell yarn ho.  Each set is 1 point. (This set is blue--can do other colors if requested)

Embedded butterfly soap.  This was difficult to get a picture of, but this clear soap includes a small resin butterfly in the middle. Great for children (as long as small objects WON'T be put in mouths!) or a fun project for the week. Smiley  There is only one of these currently available. 1/2 point.

marble soaps! each is pearberry scented. choose from the green marble or orange marble.  1/2 point/each.

Light blue fleur de lis.   A nice bayberry scent in a moisturizing goat's milk base. 1/2 point each.

Yellow bees! Honey almond scented with an olive oil base. 1/2 point each.

Green bees! Eucalyptus mint scented. 1/2 half point/each.

Lemongrass poppy seed bar! 1/2 point. Scented with essential oils.

Brown Sugar Fig Exfoliating bar.  1/2 point.  With natural apricot seed that acts as a gentle exfoliator.  Yuuuumm!

Bayberry scented soaps! I have never wanted to lick a soap so much, but I can assure you, these haven't gone near my mouth!  Wink  Each soap is a light purple color.  1/2 point.

Light purple soap is Japanese Cherry  Blossom scented! Just a hint of the cherry blossom with a nice subtle powder note, too.  1/2 point.

These cute button soaps are brown sugar and fig scented! 1/2 point each!  Yum!

Bar on the left is the same formula as the Earth Massage bar (below), but in a ergonomic half-circle bar.  The bar on the right is a spicy blend called the Fire bar.  This bar has cinammon-clove oil, a dash of natural cinammon and a bit of extra sparkle.  Each is 1/2 point.

The bar on the left is called Water Massage.  It's actually blue and has a nice, clean fragrance.  It also has a touch of glitter added.  1/3 point. The bar on the right is the Earth Massage bar.  It is an olive oil base, scented with sandalwood and pine fragrance oils with a hint of cinnamon.  1/2 point.

Bug soaps! 1/2 point each, choose from blue or red dragonfly and yellow or green ladybug.  2 of these are lemongrass-scented.

Tired of deciding between the dog and the iron while playing Monopoly?  Step your game up a notch and bring your own piece to the table!  Set of six, double-sided handdrawn game pieces that measure approximately 1 1/2" tall.  1/2 point.

OR, if people aren't your fancy, select the angry/expressionless/scared blobs! These are a bit smaller (varying in sizes, but just above 1/2" tall) and come in a set of 6.  1/2 point.

Two items here:

#1 - Fruit Baby Hat.  Can be custom with colors, but PM me first please to  make sure I've got time to get it out to you in a week! Smiley  Each hat is 2 points.

#2 - Mason Dixon Bib.  Can be custom with colors--just let me know what you want! Each bib is 1 point.

new! supplies!

Loteria Cards.  Set of 4 for 1/2 point.  Please specify which you want. (If you need help figuring out what pictures are, please PM me!)

Paper-Source printer-friendly 2 1/2" round labels.  Available in pool (left) or soft white (right).  Each package comes with 60 labels and if you've claimed any soap from me recently, you've probably seen these labels!  Each package is 1 point. Multiples available.

Chocolate brown Paper Source envelopes.  Choose from chocolate A2 envelopes (larger, in back) or chocolate 4bar (smaller, on top) envelopes.  Each comes 10/pack. 1  point each.

Starting Points - 8

Current Points - 0
Pending Points - 4
Total Points - 4

Hello Fellow Crafters!  Welcome to my shop!
My home is smoke-free, but I do have a small dog (Jack Russell type).

Let me know if you have any questions.

Here is what I have to offer:

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

These are my own herbal infusion (tea) recipes.  Each bag is filled fresh and sealed by me.  6 tea bags = 1/2 point  (mix and match).  ALL TEAS ARE CAFFEINE FREE.

1.  FABULOUS FRUIT:  Rasberry Leaf, Lemon Grass, Orange Peel
2.  FLORAL FANTASY:  Hibiscus Flower, Jasmine, Linden Flower, and Hydrangea Root
3.  SPICE UP MY LIFE: Anise, Clove, Ginger Root
4.  BEDTIME TEA:  Chamomile, Linden Flower and Passion Flower
5.  RED, RED ROSE:  Rose Hips, Rose buds, Red Root

Note:   If you would like a special blend, please let me know.  These are made when they are ordered so special orders are no problem!

In addition to those listed above, I have the following available:

Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Bergamot, Dandelion, Elderberry, Calendula

These eggs are covered in polymer clay.  Most are done in a quilting technique that I learned in a clay class.  Number 1 (blue, green, yellow) is actually a real egg.   I used a different technique on Number 8.  It is a coiling technique.  Each piece is hand coiled and then placed on the egg.  They are baked and sealed.

The egg is perhaps the oldest and most universal symbol of rebirth and new life.

Amethyst and Pearls

Amethyst is a purple-colored quartz used as a semi-precious stone.  It is known as a spiritual stone and is used for general healing and for meditation. Soothes and calms the mind, raises the spirit, rebalances and increases intuitive awareness, protects from negative vibrations.

Lapis Lazuli is a brilliant blue mineral.  Helps acquire wisdom and truth. It is also a symbol of power and a mental and spiritual cleanser.  It is the stone of friendship. Helps cut through superficialities to find inner truth.

Backpack style, black purse.  I did not make the purse, but it is new.  I thought it was rather plain, so I embellished it with beads!

I did not crochet these, but somebody did! (not on craftster).  They are truly beautiful!  They appear to have a light starch on them to help stiffen them.

TIGERS EYE NECKLACE 1 POINT  -- 21 inches with a 2.5 inch extension chain

Tiger-eye symbolizes Watchfullness, clear thinking, helps in manifesting will, courage, and confidence. It assists the user in forming clear and defined ideals around responsibility to relationship.

Aventurine is said to be excellent for releasing anxiety, boosting confidence, imagination, and perception. It is also believed to promote perception and better eyesight. Some people today believe that Aventurine helps you become more grateful, decisive, and a better leader.

These are my first "paintings" so I have priced them low to reflect my beginner's status!

SWALLOW - WATERCOLOR -- This is a watercolor on a 9x12 artist canvas.

The swallow represents love, care and affection towards family and friends, showing the loyalty of the person always returning to them.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

Thrifted, stenciled and painted jeans with a beautiful fluer-de-lis pattern topped with a little hibiscus flower.  I used the new spray fabric paint on these. Low rise, Junior Size 9, 3-button closure.

NOTE:  I will do custom orders on jeans.  If you have a pair of jeans you want customized, let me know.  You can send them to me and I will do my "dirty" work and send them back to you.  Or, let me know your size and I will post a pair.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

Includes the paper sachet pouches, the potpourri, and the drawer liner. Really nice set.

This is a beautiful hard cover journal by Flavia.  It is named "Across the Porch from God".  It is a gratitude journal.  There is no scripture in it, just pages to who gratitude for what we have been given.  Here are examples of some of the pages.

Becomming More...What I'd like to change and how I'd like to grow.
Truthful Awakenings...The hardest questions to ask.
Lessons of Abundance...Being thankful for what we have makes room for more.
Reasons to Believe...Finding clarity and directions through gratitude.
Through New Eyes...Seeing more than before.

It truly is a inspirational and wonderful journal!

CORKS - 1/2 point for all

PURSE HANDLES (1/2 point each)
