i think it looks great, i haven't built up the courage to try crochet lace yet

It's actually easier than you might think...other than the redonkulously small hooks, it's fun to watch it work up so quickly.  Then you pick up a regular size hook and feel like you're crocheting with a human femur. . .

Oh, wow... I used to think people who crochet with crochet thread are absolutely nuts (b/c I lack patience and envy them)...

But it looks so fantastically awesome on this blanket! And I give you extra applause for not choosing crappy pastels!!! (Gawwwwd, I hate pastels)...  The black, bone white and red look fabulous!   Cheesy  But the delicate edging really 'class it up'!

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

I love personal swaps for small stuff (including Hershey Kisses!)! PM me for happy fun rockin' good times!

It's pretty, and the border really stands out, you did a great job!
