My husband has carried this in his wallet since the 70's
It is quote from Elizabeth Barrett Browning, who has lots of great
"Grow old along with me,
The best of life is yet to be"
He met me in 89, and showed it to me on our first date.
He was unmarried at 44, but extremely romantic.
We've been married since 89

magic happens

Elizabeth Barrett Browning:

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways...

Cole Porter:

Do do that voodoo that you do so well...

"For what do we exist, but to laugh at our neighbors and be laughed at in our turn?"

another option is to also put in reasons why you love your partner. I think i'm going to do a combination of both this year.

This is super long, but I love it...

Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are.

Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.
~Captain Corelli's Mandolin

I had this big, weird Original Sin thing for a while...again, its long...

Louis: Laugh when I tell you that I still love you.
Julia: No, not me. You don't love me.
Louis: Oh yes. Oh yes. Yes, you. Not Julia Russel, Not Bonny Castle. You. I love you as I know you. Because I know you. As you are. Good and bad. Better and worse. I told you this already, but you didn't believe me. Tonight you will. To us. A short life but an exciting life. (TAKES POISON)
Julia: Don't do that.
Louis: No other one. No other love but you. From first to last. Start to finish. Don't change, Julia. Don't ever change.

And a couple more randoms...

For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.
~Judy Garland

We loved with a love that was more than love.
~Edgar Allan Poe

your friends ask about me you say I can be found
with the cheap romance novels with their spines battered down
oh the heart has no bones you say so it wont break
but the purpose of loving is the pounding it takes

This one is one of my favorite quotes-

"If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you."

I made one of these for my husband for V-day last year. I was pretty broke and came up with this as a creative, romantic idea. I put things in about him as well as romantic quotes and dates, etc that were special to us.

Two romantic poems we like are "He wishes for the Cloths of Heaven" W.B. Yeats and "Let me not to the Marriage of true minds admit impediment" - Shakespeare.

I also made one for my friend for her birthday. I called it a friendship jar and put in quotes about friendship and reasons why she is cool e.g "You are a wonderful aunt".

"every breath i take is because i love you......"
Shay Bug

speak from your heart, when someone shows you are tells you that they love you, feel it. and when possible jot it down to how you feel. maybe keep a small notebook in your pocket with pen for any inspiration.

A couple of my favourites:

"The ultimate test of a relationship is to disagree but to hold hands." - Alexandra Penney

"When I wake up, well I know I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be the man who wakes up next to you" - the Proclamers.

"Don't marry the person you think you can live with; marry only the individual you think you can't live without." Dr James Dobson

Hope this helps!
