A special thanks goes out to Craftster for being so talented and inspirational.

These are all on cheap canvas board from Wal*mart.

Electric Disco Aura 8x10
Its finished except I'm going to take my black sharpie and fill in that lined space around her shape there.  That grayish stuff is silvely metallic paint.  Looks better IRL :-p

Fish Need Love ... too lazy to look at size :-p
I like this, but I liked it a TON better before I added the squiggly.  I need to make the heart look more like its on a fishing hook, but I've been too chicken to try because I don't think I can make it look right.  That line is because I had to scan it and piece in together.  The background was done with watercolor and plastic wrap...

Freedom Between the Lies 16x20
This turned into a politicalish piece.  I was going to write some words between the torn paper (something to do with reading between the lines before its too late) but before I could do it I spilled dirty paint water with Modge Podge in it... got all over my desk.  It was a few minutes before I realized it got on this and when I wiped it off it took up a bit of the paint and.... it kinda blah'd me.  I REALLY like it just like this, so I might not add the wording.  Again, the lines are due to scanning...

Glitter Jungle 8x10
Used black watercolor on stamps on an acrylic painted background and white highlights with watercolor straight out of the tube.  The wording is mine... not quite happy with how it looks.  Was tempting to go over it with a black sharpie but I wasn't sure if I'd like it.  Purple was also tempting but I didn't want it to look Red Hat Ladyish :-p My (male) roomie read it and didn't like it.  I think he just doesn't get it :-p

Very cool!  I love your dark but vibrant colours, and I especially like the first one!

Thanks, Buns! They actually look a lot better IRL... that goes without saying, of course, but the colors really are yummier in person.  I don't mix very often, just use straight out of the tube/bottle right onto the canvas.  :-)

Those are all really cool! I especially love the whale and the heart! I actually don't mind the squigglies, they really add a "wateryness" to it in my opinion Smiley and the heart as a fishhook is adorable, but I would agree that the string needs to pop a little more.... Lovely job!
