I knit this scarf for my sweetie-pie of a boyfriend after a lot of begging on his part.  It was supposed to be a surprise, but I felt bad that he kept asking for one and I kept saying no.

Anyhow, Its a simple garter stitch the whole way through.  I added the gray stripe just to break up the red a little (plus, I had just learned how to switch colors and couldn't resist).

Here's how it turned out...

I used Caron Simply Soft in Autumn Red and Charcoal Heather and US #9

Oooh, I like the colors!!  I'm sure he'll love it, even more so because you made it for him.  What yarn did you use?

those two colours match beautfiully together- I'm sure he'll be wearing the scarf all the time, especially since you made it.
