So it is getting close to Valentines Day, and I decided I would make my boyfriend and family homemade cards. I have been in a long-distance
relationship now for a year and a half.. and there are only a couple months left before he comes back from school for good. This is a good thing of course, but I love sending him mail and little crafty goodies, so I want to make sure to send him some cute stuff over the next while, hence my cheesy cards. I made the deer stamp in one of my art methods classes a while ago. I used pink and red construction paper, and utilized my witty father for the captions..if you think they are bad you should have heard what he first said..me:"dad can you think of any sayings that are funny that have to do with a deer...dad: "you make me horny" lol
then i asked if he could think of one that had to do with bambi and he said: "sorry i shot your mother, will you be my valentine." lol, what can i say my dad is hilarious. The one for my bf is the one with the added sparkley beads..his says I aDOE you on the inside as well. so enough babbling, here are the pictures. Let me know what you think. Cheesy

haaaaaaaaaahahahaha  these are hilarious.  great idea.  when did valentines get so serious and leave puns behind?  somewhere at the point where we stop putting them into decorate shoeboxes and they stop having characters from our favorite cartoons on them, i guess.

Great job, I love the deer!

Those are absolutely adorable! I love the puns! And the "you make me horny" isn't THAT bad....okay maybe it is, but I bet it would still be appreciated! Wink LOL!
