Okay let me explain. . . I have the sweetest little budgie (parakeet) named Eddy and my husband always forgets to put down the toilet lid. Since Eddy is fully flighted and loves the mirror in the bathroom it freaks me out that she might fall in and drowned one day. I know I am paranoid but other people have warned me about it. And once Eddy flew into the sink when I was washing dishes (my husband let her out and she came looking for me). She is kind of dense and loves water. Sorry for the rambling but thats the story behind this banner in our bathroom. I used the Kurt Halsey pattern and made the bird the same color as mine. I sketched the toilet myself  by looking at ours. That is why it kind of sucks.

Anyways here are the pictures tell me what you guys think. Oh, and you can totally make fun of my sanity my husband does. Grin

Here's Eddy. . .

Thanks for looking and sorry I am crazy.

I think that's awesome! As a bird owner, I can totally understand where you're coming from, it doesn't seem silly at all. I keep my birds' clipped, but I usually close bathroom doors whenever I walk past them anyways, because accidents still happen!

i used to have parrots and this is a great idea. our little parroty friends want to be with us all the time and they can be so darn sneaky!

in fact, sad story coming up... one of them was lost in an accident of a door shutting because my boyfriend at the time wasn't paying attention and it was just horrible.

I think you did an excellent job on the toilet!  What a cute wall hanging!

That is very cute and a great idea! And you know what, "mamas" do crazy things sometimes : D I know I'm paranoid and over-protective about little darling kitty. Although I don't know much about birds, I definately know the 'obsessive' maternal feeling you have for Eddy. Cheers

That is really cute.  My husband thinks that I am paranoid too, but I am a big fan of the old 'better safe than sorry' adage.  I think your banner is a great idea!
