I was wondering if anyone has taken this program, and what they thought of it?  Also, what are you are doing now as a career?

Bonjour  Wink
They have yearly information sessions. You should attend
There was one last week, but there is another in March
I can e-mail you the program coordinator (and instructor)'s e-mail and you can speak with her if you like

As for people who have finished the program, I have met quite a few who work in the film industry for dyeing and breakdown. There is also a girl with her own line of handwoven scarves and shawls in West Vancouver area--she sells very well (in fact, she planned to continue studying in Eastern Canada but she is doing so well that she decided to stay). A few others sell their own handwoven items (one in Saltspring) and some are also instructors on the side. A few people also have their own fashion lines in Gastown, and then there are people who create pieces for exhibition at galleries.

Let me know if you have any other questions

Thanks for the reply
I did have the chance to make it to the info session last week.  It was very informative, and I did apply to the college, now i'm just putting my portfolio together.

I just wanted some feedback on the program.

Also, I think I know the person you are talking about who is selling woven shawls/scarves, I'm taking a spinning class from her.

Thanks again.
