I am new to Craftster and this is my very first project post! Be gentle with me.

This is my newest project. It is a pendant cut from sterling silver sheet metal. It has a matte, hammered finish. It is designed to be highly customizable depending on how you string it. Let's say you string it on a piece of beige suede for work, and switch to a black lacy ribbon when you want to go out to dinner.

Comments and questions welcome!

Edit: I am not pleased with how the above picture came out. Here is what I believe to be a more representative sample.

Edit edit: It's not really matte anymore. Ok, SHINY hammered finish. We all love shiny things here, anyway.  Roll Eyes

This is gorgeous and a wonderful piece.  Even from the small photo you can tell it is a rose.  The detail is incredible.  I personally would wear it on a slim (5mm) black ribbon everyday.  Just out of curiosity - how large is it in height and width.

I'm very impressed, and like crafty cat - welcome to Craftster - I hope you have fun here.

When I make a mess something good always comes from it.

Totally spazzed on the measurements. It measures 2.5 inches at the widest point and 2 inches at the tallest. Also, it strangely looks bigger than it actually is.

I'm a bit disappointed that the hammering didn't show up too well. It's also a tad shinier than the picture reveals.

I guess I have to hone my photography skills.  Undecided
