I love Pokemon, and Bulbasaur/Ivysaur/Venusaur are my very favorite pokemon.  Grass types for life!

I had to attempt to make one, and it's my favorite creation so far.  I hope it's recognizeable!

Here you can see that I did NOT sew the top lip ('c.' in the pattern) under on the inside.  I pulled it outside when turning and then tacked it down on the outside for a little bit of a turtle-look:

So you can see how the chin seam goes:

I am posting the very same paper pattern I made and used, but use it at your own risk!  It's kinda wonky.  You'll kinda have to eyeball where the edges of the top of the head (marked 'b.' on the pattern) go on the underbody.

Someone asked how to do the flower bud, so I tried to make a picture guide:

I just free-handed the eyes, ears, teeth and leaves.  They're all very fun and easy to do.  Google image search was my friend in getting the eyes and leaves right.   Wink

I added an Oddish to my Pokemon list!   Grin

Aaaaand a pattern!

When you make the 5 leaves, you can stitch each one to an open top of the 5 sides of the body.  Big leaf in middle, small leaves to either side, last 2 big leaves in the back.

Feel free to use the pattern(s) however you like!  Please post pictures if you do!  Grin

People who take time to be alone usually have depth, originality, and quiet reserve.

This is awesome! You did a terrific job! This also happens to be my son's favorite Pokemon, too. Next to Oddish, which when he was younger he called 'Grapebaby'.
