I used this great pattern:

It came out too big for my little head, but other than that Im happy with it. It was fast and easy to make.
Im going to dinner at a friends house on saturday. I might just bring it along and see if it fits one of my friends.

You did a great job.  Thanks for the pattern link, I was thinking just yesterday about making hats, and now you posted a beautiful one.  Thanks.

This is one of the cutest hats I've seen posted.  If it doesn't fit any of your friend's heads, my melon is quite large!!

I've been on a hat making binge recently myself  Smiley Your hat is lovely, the flower on the side adds a little something that my hats are lacking - thanks for the inspiration

Thanks so much for all the nice comments.

would you tell me what the hat band measurement is on the inside? i would be bummed if it didn't fit me, i'm going to use some fabric that i really like. thanks.
According to the info in the link the pattern makes a hat to fit a head with a 22.5″ circumference. The pattern pieces has 2 lines. I guess the inner line is ment as the "seam-line". I cut the pieces along the outer line, but I used my regular seam allowance rather than the one marked in the pattern. Stupid me!
You could easily measure all pattern pieces, add up (6 in all) and from there figure out what your seam allowance should be to make the perfect size for you!

Well, I just have to make another.
