Well theoretically anyway. I made this dress in the hopes of wearing it for my anniversary. (in September Lips sealed) Well I got busy and was unable to finish it up.

I got a couple questions, red shoes or black? (I'm looking for the perfect pair of 50's style closed toe  w/ankle strap) And should I just hem it, or hem with red bias tape and put a layer of tulle under it?

the whole dress

Thanks for all the nice comments! I think red shoes would be fun also, but hard to find to match the belt.

Yeah I used a McCall's pattern, I'll try to find the envelope. Oh and the shoulders aren't weird, it's just Lola trying to be naughty  Wink. I find I do need to puts some darts in the bust as well.

I would def wear red shoes.  And I second the request for a pattern number, this is absolutely adorable! :-)  I especially love it with that belt.
