Few years ago I bought a card like this one

(that one I gave it away) but kept a model for myself, other day I was looking at my old craft box and found one that I had made...
As valentine day is coming in USA I thought I could share with you... Here in Brazil valentine's day is only in June...
I took a picture of the "diagram" to make the card.

Here is the tools you ll need to make the card... As this one I made few years ago I don't have photos of the making process but hope it helps if you want to do one...

Have fun!!!

There is a free program you can download to make some basic origamic architecture cards like this.  It's here: http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/craft/popupcard_en/

I have personally downloaded  and installed it, so I know it works and isn't a virus.

that orange thing as a tool is a puncher... I used that one to make the "corner" , to make the white paper fit in the rose paper... but if you dont have it you can cut a diagonal line.
The pink line in the center is a valley fold.
I hope it answer your question...

this is harder than it looks, the folding takes a while, but it's adorable and i can't wait to give them to my boyfriend and my friends for valentine's.

It took me a while of sitting and just staring at your pictures, but NOW I GET IT!! (The "mountain fold"-"valley fold"- "cut" descriptions in the different colors helped a LOT!)

Thanks SO much!

Google "origamic architecture" for more about this kind of papercraft.

I found a site that has a bit different approach to a fold out card but also has step by step tutorials:Simple Pop-Ups You Can Make! (by Robert Sabuda) http://robertsabuda.com/popmakesimple.asp

Okay, I played with your design a little and made my own.  It's in a separate post here

https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=225870.msg2444972#msg2444972

As I was making it I realized that the part cut from the top half of the card can be any shape (doesn't have to be straight lines) so I cut it in a curve to fit the heart shape better.

Thanks again for the pattern!

Thanks for the tute!  I just made this for my friends anniversary

Thanks again!
It was a little hard to get the folds done neatly, but I think it came out okay in the end.
