Okay, now I understand the love for felting.  Before, when people would post things like "I'm so obsessed with felting now!" I would think "yeah, yeah...".  But now I get it.  Totally.  My feet have been so cold lately, I really wanted to make some slippers out of wool.  When I saw the pattern for the Kickstart Felted Boots: http://www.sldknitting.com/free/kickstartboots.pdf , I knew I had to make them.  All told, it probably only took a couple of weekends.  I finished the knitting at about 1am last night, and just HAD to get started on the felting.  By 2am, after lots of felting/trying on, I called it done.  What do you guys think?  I'm stoked!

Love them!  I'm bookmarking this pattern - boot-type slippers are the best & toastiest.  I especially like your funky fringe at the top!
