Some films I would like even if their only redeeming quality was the costuming and wardrobe.  I am a bit of a film geek and part of the reason I like this film, I will admit, is that Yves St. Laurent did the wardrobe (it is all simple, elegant, mod little suits and dresses).

I was inspired by that film when I made this dress from "winter white" wool.

My favorite thing about it is the pockets and pleats - I love pockets and pleats!

I added black braided trim because the off-white seemed too stark without some contrast.

I love it. I thought Yves St. Laurent the moment I saw it. Beautiful.

Hmmm I've never heard of this movie! Considering your taste is very similar to mine I'm gonna have to look into it! And this is beautiful! I love the simplicity!

I absolutely love everything that you do!!  So classic and stylish, with just enough twist to keep me on my toes--really lovely!  This dress is probably my favorite to date.  It's just timeless.  By the way, whoever takes your pictures does an amazing job!

Tell Me Where It Hurts' video (song by Garbage) is inspired by Belle De Jour  ^__^ YouTube it.
You captured the style very well.
