I made these supper cute box bags using this tutorial from DragoKnit loosely.  I made a bunch of changes so that I could use the Wool sweaters that I felt.  Serisouly - I have a TON of sweaters.  People at the resale shoppe know me by name!

The brown one has a retro fabric that is a sample piece that you would see at a fabric store.  I think they are 70s.  They look great matched up with the wool felt.  There are no exposed seams here.  I have covered them all or they are hidden in between the lining and the outside.

The pink one is fabric store fabric.  But it makes it work.  This bag reminds me of myself.  It is all bright flowers on the outside, but an animal on the inside - Grrrrrr.  I have added pockets on the inside on both sides for all the stuff.

I pride myself on using items that are recycled or recrafted. Thank goodness for the people that save everything and then donate it to the resale shoppes, ie. zippers and buttons.

Thank for looking - would love to hear what you think!

These are absolutely wonderful!!  So beautiful and I have to agree with everyone else that they look very professional.  I'm bookmarking this so I can find the link later! I particularly like the coloring on the pink one, inside and out. Thanks for sharing.

I want one!  I buy a ton of recycled sweaters to make woollies (pull-on longies for my cloth diapered kiddos) but could never make something so beautiful...  :-(

Lovely work.  :-)
