Alright, I need to ask if anyone would be willing to take on a second partner.  Marylini is needing to drop out of the swap, so now, her partner, outofthequestion is without a partner!  Please PM me if you're willing to craft a second package and receive a second package!

Hi everyone, I just started my slippers (A bunch of crazy things came up and apparently they don't let you crochet in court) anyways Ive hit a snag. How is everybody sizing their slippers?

My partners shoe size is 2-3 sizes larger than mine so how do I make sure that I have the right size? Keep in mind I really have NO female friends and my mum's feet are the same size as mine so making someone else try them on would be no good.

I asked my partner to measure her foot for me Smiley That way I have it in inches and not just the shoe size.

When I made them for a friend I had her draw her foot, and I used that to measure.  My partners feet are a little smaller then mine so I made them a little small for me, wow that was not helpful, I am sorry.  Ask her to draw her foot, just a straight line should work for you to measure against, although I am sure there is some website out there that converts shoe size to inches or something.  Good luck!

I want to thank everyone who offered to take on a second partner for outofthequestion, but we won't need the help. Now, we're just down to 12 of us!

I swear, I'm so close to being done with the slippers--if I could only make myself crochet!  lol

I just went to walmart and found better yarn for the slippers Im making my partner. I'm starting tonight, and I'm praying I have enough leftover for a pair for me. Grin I got lucky and me and my partner have the same size feet.

Hey everyone, I just realized I haven't checked this thread in way too long (sorry to be a slacker).  Everything is going well here, especially since I was able to get clarity on some questions I had.  I am totally excited that I am going to be sending out of the country.  Everything is going well here.

It's okay that we're a quiet group.  Smiley  It's nice to have a low-stress swap.  Plus, I don't have a lot of time to get online since I can't access Craftster at work.  I was trying to post yesterday, but the computer was so dang slow!  I'm nearly done with my stuff--I'm hoping to send out soon.

Hey all,
as Pinkleo said, I sent, she sent, it was a whole big sending thing.  I had SO MUCH fun doing this, I am totally gonna get addicted.  I did however, neglect to take pics of my stuff entirely before I sent it, so, Pinkleo, it is all you!  Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
