I really like this tiered babydoll hoodie from Free People, but it costs $88.00. I know I can make that for 1/5 of the price! I was wondering how to attach the tiered part to the hoodie so that i can still get it over my head. It seems like by attaching it the hoodie would not be able to stretch anymore, so it would not fit. Am i wrong in thinking this or is there a special way to attach it? Here's a link to the item:

Any suggestions on piecing the tiered section and the hoodie section together? Thanks!

Look up a pattern for a tiered peasant skirt and adjust the side of the pieces accordingly for a miniature version.
