I have been saving my 1year old lab's hair to card with wool and make something with. I love how silky soft her fur is, even her guard hairs are soft! So personally I think this is awesome! I am begging for a long haired puppy just to brush the fur! lol. Oh I mean becasue khindi needs a friend. Wink

That's so awesome!  I wish I could have done this with my Rottweiler when she was alive.

Personally, if you could get enough hair that is, I think it'd be hilarious if you made the dog a coat from its own fur.

Love it! I've been saving our big dog's (Buddy-St. Bernard, 160lbs) hair to spin up and make a sweater for our little dog (Sydney-Mini Dachshund, 9lbs.) I checked out the book "Knitting with Dog Hair" from the Library, how fun!!!
