I made two very different christening dresses.
First is 100% cotton including the lace and has a slip and bonnet.

The other is a recycled wedding dress that also comes with a bonnet.

Both are listed at $50 and I've had lots of views but no one wants to buy them.  Are they ugly?  Is the demand just not there?  Should I take different pictures?  Lower the price?  Please honest opinions wanted.

Not that I'm any sort of businesswoman, but christening gowns seem like a fairly specialised sort of market to me. Have you been advertising much, and if so where?

Sigh, I never even thought of advertising.  I have so much to learn.

A good place to start might be... well, posters in your local church, if they have a community notice board. Offer hand made christening gowns and direct people to your website for examples of your work. You might get some commissions that way even if you don't sell these ones in particular. Of course, there's the obligatory link to your shop/site in your Craftster signature and in the sig of any other forum you're on, links in your blog if you've got one... you get the idea Cheesy

Other people will probably have better ideas. But a start's a start, right? Smiley
