this is a quilt i made as a christmas present for a boyfriend but we broke up just in time for me to give it to my little sister! she definitly appreciates it more than he would have. ahem.

here's a closer look

it's made all from 100 percent oxford shirts from the local thrift shop, and tied down at the corners with embroiderey floss. thick-loft batting, maroon fleece to back it, that's it! the best part was ripping apart the seams, of course.  Grin

Your quilt is beautiful.  What a good idea to use oxford shirts as quilt squares!  I want to make one now...

I loooove this quilt and I think that I would like to make one for my husband.  Do you remember about how many shirts you used or needed?  Your blocks look pretty big...10 inches?

At my lemonade stand I used to give the first glass away free and charge five dollars for the second glass... the refill contained the antidote.
