thanks for the kind words!

i actually tried to get people to hire me to paint nurseries for them. i had a few people interested, until they found out how much it would cost. they only wanted to pay me $200! not even including the supplies! i think i spent about $100 on paint and supplies for the room... $100 just does not cover 9 days of painting for at least 8 hours a day...

That is absurd!  My cousin had someone paint clouds in the shape of animals on her ceiling and they charged her $200 for about three hours.  I would love to have something like that done, however I have enough sense to know I cannot afford it.  Amazing work!  Cant let the 4-year-old daughter see this post!

I wouldn't, my first thought was seriously, " Shocked OMFG teh pink, it's burnses us!  Shocked" But, despite the fact that I just can't handle all of the pink, which is by far just a personal preference. The room looks fantastic, and just like the liscensed Hello Kitty, and the shading is wonderful. And I'll admit, I would have loved it when I was little.

My daughter's room is all done up in hello kitty too!  I thought about doing a mural type thing on her walls, but I can't figure out a way to transfer the images on the wall without using an overhead.  How did you do yours?  Was it free hand?  I suck at free hand stuff.  I would paint this in my room and I'm almost 30!!  Tongue  and my boyfriend wouldn't like it!!

Very well done, I am insanely jealous!
