Those potatoes look great! How did you know when to get 'em outa the ground? I was talking to my Mom about that last night, we weren't sure at all.

Well, I did it by total accident ? I forgot where in the pile I'd seen the plants, and after they died off I happened to stick my pitchfork in the right spot and these rolled out. I skewered one of them by doing this, so I don't recommend this method.   Smiley

 I  heard that it's best to let them flower, at the very least, and in my experience waiting until the plants are dying off or dead works best. I dug and found another bunch that were the size of marbles and a really shiny pink/red color, so I burried them again, hoping maybe they'll be ready later.

Hehehe, sounds good. When we got the ones I have out of the compost pile they were tiny, but already brown. I'm not sure what that means, this is a total experiment for me.
