Hello!
I have learnt to knit entrelac. It was fun and hard. I really like the look of it. I used this fantastic tutorial. http://knittyotter.typepad.com/otterknits/2007/03/entrelac_scarf_.html
I used different colours of yarn to make it look like a braid. This gave the side effect of many loose treads on the reverse side. So I had to line the scarf and knitted a similar piece and embroidered my husbands initials there too. (He is the one who will use it.)
I used scraps of wool yarn. They were quite thin so I knitted with double yarn on the front piece. The lining is knitted with one yarn.

I would love to do a personal swap!

(And I would trade anything I own plus a part of my soul, heck all of my soul, for some homespun yarn)
