OK, this is the third batch of beer soap I make. I added tangerine essential oil for a citrus kick and it smells great! I'm very happy with it (and so are the men in my family). This beer soap is very rustic-looking and the fact that has REAL beer it is a favorite among the guys. It's HUGE 5oz +

superfatted with castor oil, this soap lather like crazy and is super moisturizing.

Does the soap smell like beer, or is that just an ingredient in it? It might work for guys but I'm not sure I want to smell like a party ALL the time.  Wink I'm very curious though! It looks beautiful, very well presented and I love tangerine!

Nope. It does not smell like beer. that would be awful, IMO. It smells citrus-y.  Wink

That looks fantastic, I love the natural look.
Do you just use beer instead of the water in your soap recipe?
Do you need to do anything special to it or can i just use our Saturday night leftovers?  Wink

Yes, you make the lye solution with beer instead of water. you need to use super flat beer, though.
