I also received today, from the lovely mazelpants:

A decoupaged photo frame and little box, a bag with appliqued hearts, and a vintage book!
I really needed a new knitting project bag, and this is a great size!  The book also has some pretty cool knitting patterns that I'd actually like to make (plus a how-to for some serious bellbottom pants  Grin)

And here's what I sent to her:

a tote bag made from my collection of vintage sheets...

a crocheted scarf...

a cat wallet...
I also sent an amigurumi mushroom and a microscope slide necklace with a picture of a 50's housewife, but I didn't remember to take pictures of those.

Thanks for organizing, sundayafternoonhousewife!  It's been a great swap  Grin

iheartcapnhook - We can totally swap sometime. Let me know if you want to do a personal swap! I have lots and lots of embroidery patterns I could send you!

tristitia - The plaid patterned sheet used for the handles, I am almost positive that I have a pillow case of that fabric. Or a very very similar one. We have an entire collection of old pillow cases.

I'm so sorry lost internet connection for 3 days!!! Sad I do however have a pictures of becks wonderful stuff I have been wearing the apron EVERYWHERE! Smiley Was especially a hit this valentines day. by the way the bag i tested it out today at the store and got rave reviews and a big huge gigantic plus factor it was a breeze to haul groceries with! love everything thank you again

on the back of the skull pants i also embroidered sew punk on the pockets Smiley

PS - Pee cups?  Cheesy I'm totally pulling that prank on someone in the office. Too funny.

Rhino - Do you happen to have a closeup picture of that hat you made for beckster? It looks really cool Smiley

you can add craisins (dehydrated cranberries) or bits of strawberries and a drop or two of red food coloring for a more twisted approach works fabulous with gelatin Cheesy
red hearts were from vintage boy scout wool coat and the yarn was koolaid dyed.

I'm SOOOO glad you liked everything rhino!!  The bag is nice 'cuz you can fold it up real small or shove it in your pocket.  It would work good for lighter stuff, but I dunno about a gallon of milk or something heavier.  I reinforced the hell out of the bottom so it would hold up!  Useful things make me happy! I got my package from DesignVigilante. She sent me a ton of stuff!

First, a cute hat, some stitch markers with letters for what hook I'm using, and a little pink amigurumi dude who's super cute.

Next, she started making me a pouch but didn't have a zipper, so she sent me the pouch and lining (you can't see the fabric very well, but it's this great Asian paperdoll print).

Last, she sent me a bunch of amigurumi patterns and yarn to make them with, along with polyfil and embroidery floss for details.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked your package as well.
