Hi again!

I'm dropping out of this stitchalong bright and early.  Roll Eyes

I discovered yesterday just how severely little I actually know about needlework, and I might need to start over on my big Klimt piece.  Cry

Welcome, Cirobi! I've been bad and haven't picked mine up yet this year. I pulled it out and got distracted, never actually did any stitch work.

Hehe, sorry to hear that Calluna. Starting over on a project that large would be tedious, to say the least.

gosh - I stopped to do several other projects - christmas tree skirt (plus other decorating natch), curtains for three windows (lined roman shades for 3, 2 got toppers, one got drapes) and a shopping carriage cover for a baby shower

BUT

I'm back and working on this - started on August 2, 2007

hopefully I'll finish soon!  the canvas is 16 x 16

OK, so i haven't cross stitched anything bigger than 6"x8" before...
and so i wanted to do a large one.
My bf chose the pattern, he loves Queen Elizabeth I
Finished it will measure 42cm x 48cm

I started it Dec 22, 2007 ( i only know the EXACT date because thats when he went back home after 2 months of being here, long distance suuuuucks)
And this is how far I've gotten.
