I helped my best friend with her wedding last June, we spent months planning and crafting because we had no idea what we were doing. But, some things came out very cute like her cake topper.

I made the bodies out of paper ribbon and used ribbon and fabric for the clothes while the bride painted their heads (the groom looks identical to his cake topper self).
We put flowers in little buckets and tied them with ribbon to hang on the pews.

We made collage programs and then had them photocopied so that they all looked like collages but we didn't have to make 200 actual collages.

We tried lots of crafty ideas and she was pretty pleased with the outcome.

The cake topper is really cute.  Great Job.

I love her colors!  So bright and cheerful.  The cake toppers turned out great.  I love the fondant buttons on the cake too.

I have been trying to find buckets that size for several months! Where did you find them and what size are they?

Thanks! We had fun with the cake topper.
We found the buckets at Target in the $1 section last year around Easter, they are probably about 5 or 6 inches tall. If you don't need them for a few more months Target might have them again, she also bought the mini mailboxes they had at Valentines day last year and they have them again this year, so there is a chance they will have the buckets again.
She had a time picking the colors, she wanted fun and they are definitely fun.

Sunnydays: On the pails, I think Oriental trading had some about that size too.

Yup, they do! Funny, between now and the last time I looked through the Oriental trading website they must have added them.

Thanks everyone for letting me know!
