Has anybody bought that book yet? I was wondering if I should buy it. I really liked what I saw in the pages I saw online, but I'm not sure if there are projects in it for my short attention span ... sweaters and other big projects scare me.

One of the great things about crochet is that you can set it aside for a while if it gets overwhelming and not worry about it unraveling. Personally I really like the book, and even the sweaters are made in pieces, so you could do a section at a time.

Of course tattoos hurt...they're applied with needles, not kitten whiskers and bunny tails.

I have a copy and I very much like it.  I'll be making several pieces from the book, unlike with Happy Hooker where I liked all of the projects but have really only made three things. It's really not all that difficult.

I'm no longer a moderator, but I will always love June 2005 - October 2008

Thanks for the feedback - I think I'll put it up on my wishlist on amazon, or maybe dump it into the shopping cart... sounds like I want to buy it sooner or later  Grin

I am in love with this book. I have a copy checked out from the library, but I think I am going to have to buy it - I love ALL the patterns that much. I love that they give a concentration scale, letting you know how simple the pattern is and all that. It's hard to find crochet sweaters and things that are actually fashionable, but in this book everything is. I also liked that substitutions to the recommended yarns are given, and some of the projects even use Red Heart Super Saver, which is nice for me since I am on a budget!
