I like the clasps in the front! Oddly enough, I picked up the same bird on my bead-and-trinket buying blowout this week, and did a front closure on it too. But the resin! Looks so good! I need more exclamation marks in here!  Grin

haha, so i'm not weird, i'm normal!

I've seen that charm before, and I never thought of resining the insides. Neat idea! I think this particular one would look better with a golden chain, like brass, to match the golden leaf.

I am also a do-it-up-at-the-back ninny  Tongue. (And a jeweller. ha...) Have you tried the do it up at the front and wiggle it round to the back method... I know it seems obvious, but it might just work.....

haha, my husband bought me a necklace when i had our daughter, it's the TINIEST chain i've ever seen! i can't work the clasp very well if i take it off completely and just try to assemblt it siting at a desk.... i think that's what's made me dislike fastening shains so much, and made me think it's impossible! and turning it around when it's on is for sure the only way i hook most chains!

Wow, that's such a great idea (the gold leaf and resin)... how much Goldschlager did you have to drink?  Tongue

I simply adore the closure.
I think that a royal purple or a deep turquoise would be nice (with the gold or not).
Almost any warm color basically.
Simply smashing.
