I was browsing around for a goldfish design, and stumbled across these delightful lil guys-- Those crocheters have the most astounding patience!

(and, if it weren't for my husband barely tolerating all my 'ornamental' projects rather than practical, that lil fuzy bear would be home with me in a heartbeat!) Wink

Wow! Those are absolutely amazing!

I like to work with thread, but the smallest I've used is a size 30 crochet cotton. I can't imagine the patience needed to crochet with sewing thread.

"Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time."

Great link!  Thanks spacecat888!  The person must be crocheting these under a microscope.

Wow! Just...wow! I love the chicks in the thimbles. I wouldn't have the patience to do something like that, but huge kudos to people who do!

I know this is a bit off-topic (don't chase me away) but while on the subject of TEENY bears...
The Knitted Teddy Bear has a pattern for a miniature teddy bear that's under 5" (I think even smaller) that could be knitted on size 0 with crochet thread and would come out very tiny.

If you knit.
