For a polyana, I had a good friend of mine that is impossible to shop for.  I found out she had an iPod, and so I thought I'd have to make her a special case.  So after surfing craftster for hours, I was inspired by a few different projects, notably a plushie with flowers for eyes and large teeth (I'm sorry, I totally forget the artist, but if you remember, post a link!)

The face flips up to show the screen

The bottom opens with a zipper I snapped off a pair of old jeans.

The top of the face opens to let the headphones through a little hole and out the top

And finally, the little pocket on the back for the headphones to be wrapped up and stuffed into.

She loved it, and it's been a while, so I decided to post it.  What do you think?

EDIT: I found the link to the project that inspired this little one's face!  Thanks, loveandasandwich, your projects are mega rad.

awesome, i love how the head flips up to show the screen  Kiss  Cheesy

People who take time to be alone usually have depth, originality, and quiet reserve.

He's missing his liver. That's how some kids react to the cafeteria food. The lucky ones.

and i am going to take a shot in the dark, but i do believe the original plushie bear that inspired you was done by the member loveandasandwich. i don't have a link, but i am 99.99% sure it was her.

O, it WAS loveandasandwich!  I remember now.  It was the pink thing with the large teeth.  I'll get up a link asap, I feel like I need to credit the source of inspiration.
