So I've been playing the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for forever long.  Over the Christmas break I decided it was time that I was going to beat it.  So when you beat the game (and briefly when you start it), it shows these incredible pictures of the characters in the game that are cutout shapes, kinda like a glorified South Park.  I thought they were so wonderful and I wanted to make some sort of project reflecting that.  So what better to portray than a picture of my furry son.  I used felt because I knew it would give me the layered look I wanted, it wouldn't fray, and it would be super-cheap.  I did all the details using embroidery floss.  I'm pretty pleased with how it came out.  Not perfect, but kinda childlike and pretty damn cute.

and of course the original Griswold

Wow!  Nice work, I can never get such a close likeness when I'm working with felt.  Cute portrait!

Your dog is so cute!!!  Cheesy I love the portrait... it's very cool, and a sweet expression of your love. Great job!!!
