a couple of pics of of a tutu that i made for an event.  The whole thing used 9 meters of tuille cut into strips tied onto elastic.  I have seen people use this same technique but found that if the strips are cut wider (6-8" wide) and you really pack them on it isn't see-through and doesn't tangle as easily.

It was so poofy that it took all of my energy to not spent the entire night jumping around and twirling - although I have to admit i lost my composure a few times.

I loved mine so much that i decided that i had to make a bunch of them as christmas presents.  Heres a pic of my sister and my 7 month old neice wearing theirs.

Here's the link to the tutorial that i used http://www.flickr.com/photos/ambrosialove/522118984/in/photostream/

This rocks! I love tutus, and I love the colours you used in yours!

I made a hot pink tutu, but I don't quite have the chutzpah to walk around without anything under it. Go, you!

Thanks!  It did take a bit of guts to wear it without pants or tights... it was really windy that night.  Hehe
