A few days before the new year I decided to do some sort of "piece of art a day" thing to keep me on track.

I chose the 2.5 x 3.5 inch format, I think called ACEO.  Didn't want to call it ATC or post there because I"m not sure what I'll be doing with these and recently learned that it is important in the definition!  (move if necessary)

Lets just call it little art Smiley

So I've got 3 days and working on the 4th as we speak, though that one might not be posted until tomorrow since I'll be away tonight (but it will be done!)

Day 1 January 01, 2008
Ink and watercolor

Day2 January 02, 2008

Day 3 January 03, 2008
ink and watercolor

not available

I would really love to know if anyone else is doing this and follow along, I had no luck in getting my sister to join in and it always feels nice to not be alone!

ive actually been doing (something like) this for awhile, simply because i suck at drawing and painting and want to improve my skills. so everyday i make it a point to either draw or paint something or both.  but i love your work really awesome stuff, i love the cat in particular

Thank you so much, you've all put a smile on my face Smiley and I don't feel so alone!

I'll keep posting my daily drawing/paintings.  So far its fun and I end up getting so absorbed in the art... my husband is already jealous of the ACEO time!

I love them, my favorite is the Frog. He is fantastic, great job and I love ATC however, you have to trade them for someone else's work (no selling, just a straight trade). Although very much fun, sometimes very hard to convince yourself to let go. I have heard of ACEO, I think you can trade them, or sell. Either way, they are great items to swap. (it would still be hard though, they are sooo lovely!)
