hey, does anybody have a pattern or any idea how to make a trapper hat like this one?
except without the intarsia, i'm not that advanced Tongue

Look for ear flap hat patterns, then add a wider flap to make the brim.

It'll be worth it to look through knitty hat archives or knittingpatterncentral.
