For Christmas I decided to crochet 2 hats for both of my younger brothers who are in the US Army. For my brother stationed in Ft. Wainwright, AK I knitted the earflap hat from the Happy Hooker using Bernet camo yarn. For my youngest brother who lives with my parents but is in the Army Reserves, I made the skull cap using the Bernet camo yarn and some left over Lamb's Pride Worsted yarn in Dynamte blue for the stripes.

(me modeling the skull cap)

After I finished these hats, my youngest brother requsted that I make him a scarf for Christmas, so I used the remainder of my Bernet camo and Dynamite Blue yarn to knit him a simple rib scarf to match. You can look at the matching scarf here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=217556.0

I love the camo yarn! Being an army vet I tend to shy away from camo pattern but I really love the Bernat yarn on the beanie!
