So, I've finally decided the theme. Cherry blossoms. Also, the colors are aqua blue and cherry red. I've started fiddling with some Save the Date cards. What do you think of them so far? I'm thinking of adding in our colors, but I also really like the simplicity of the black and white. Anyway.... here's the link.

I also like the simplicity of black and white, though I'll admit it, I'm all about splashes of color. I like the cherry blossom theme too. If you did decide to do color you could just to a tiny bit here and there.

i agree with LMZ, i think a little splash of color would look good.  maybe if you just colored in a few of the flowers?

Thanks for the replies. I did a few more of the same card. I colored one completely. And I thought it looked way overdone for my taste. Then I took both of your suggestions and colored a few of the flowers, a little bit of the bird and the branch. I think it looks better. I'll post a pic as soon as I can so you can compare.

Thanks!  Smiley

Aww that's pretty! I wish I was that artistic.  Good job!
