My husband waited until it was about 30 degrees F outside in November before he bought a coat. Then I felt bad about him shoveling snow outside since it's gotten even colder, and he didn't have a hat or gloves. Well, I decided I could at least crochet him a hat!

Here's the front (and goofball Ryan face):

Really, he's cute. I think he likes it.  Roll Eyes

Here's the side view (and normal Ryan face):

He has the brim rolled up a bit in the front but not on the sides or the back, so it might look a little odd.

I used Caron Simply Soft, and the pattern found here: http://www.operationtoastytoes.org/patterns/17watchcapcrochet.pdf

Thanks for looking!! Oh, and it only took me a couple hours this afternoon. Sweet!

Great job with that pattern!

"Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time."

Hooked on Crochet worked for me.

Thanks everyone! He reported that it kept him quite warm, and he even got a compliment about it when he stopped at a quick shop!
