I claim bkrenning4 for some wisty surprises.

Claims: 1 of 1, 0 sent, 0 received

No, I don't want myself for OWS, this is a bit about me!

I'm 21 and I live in smalltown, Ontario. I have a really wide variety of tastes. I really like kitschy and "flamboyant" stuff, but love some antiquey aesthetics too (I love filigree). I'm a wacky, young proffesional type. I have a very weird sense of style/humour. I'm "miss centre of attention" sometimes, so I like a lot of bright/neon/sparkly things. Steampunk aesthetic interests me (although I'm not entirely sure what it is.., as well as Asian aesthetic (bamboo, cherry blossoms, etc), and sometimes childish things.

Crafted : )/Purchased Items:
-toys, accesories, or anything else fun/cute for my cat (his name is Dexter, I treat him like my child, he's stinky, and I think his kitten-like behaviour will last forever)
-blacklight friendly art, accesories, etc
-ATC's and original art pieces, because I love to see other people's styles/techniques
-handspun yarn (I love the yarn with fabric scraps/beads/other doodads adding in <3
-magic yarnball (since I'm just getting into knitting), I think turquoise, emerald, or magenta yarn would be nice : )
-tattoo shoes like these: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=214428.0 or https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=216074.0 to give you an idea-swap journal
-resin pendants
-mix cd's if you're into electronic (drum and bass, ambient/trip hop, idm, psytrance), alt rock, indie, reggae, ska (preferably with your favourite songs/artists I may not of heard of, I love to expand my library with unique new tunes)
-a "brighten my day/night" package (good idea Annchen!) or maybe a set of brighten my day mini packages in matchboxes or something... I am a night auditor at a hotel, so my job is very, very dull/depressing/anti-social, and having a "first aid kit" of wee boxes of fun to open on a really bad night would be very nice : )
-solid bright coloured tights! like these: http://www.welovecolors.com/Info/Colors.aspx  in any colour really!
-knit chain like this: http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter05/PATTmarleysghost.html  except modified as a longish necklace (about mid-torso) in bright yellow or white
-a "(frugal) guide to the city" (I am a small-towner who will soon be moving to Toronto, and so any personal "guides" to what to do in Toronto/how to be frugal in the city/how to live in the city, with your favourite hotspots/things to do/stores/maps/pictures/etcETC would be AMAZING)
-a recycled metal cuff, just for an idea: http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.jsp?source=family&itemId=16045
-a pocket shrine! just because
-bento box/accessories, I really want to start making Bento lunches as encouragement for trying new foods and eating healthy

-a bit of by the metre chain for jewellery (antique copper chain would be awesome)
-porcelain pen (the kind you draw with and then bake on, not sure cost though, if it's quite a bit please don't worry about this one!)
-perler beads & board (I can only find "kits" with limited colours/shaped boards)
-copper tape, decent quality solder, glass microscope slides or a glass cutter if they're not expensive, to make something like this: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=39105.10
-neat vintage found objects
-shrinky dinks, or the shrink stuff you can print on with an inkjet (i think it's from Avery)
-package of interesting fabrics/papers/found objects for ATC's, found art, etc

-beginner spinning kit
-beginner's knitting kit (I've made a scarf in garter stich, haha, so maybe for a nifty hat or something a bit more complicated? I do have trouble keeping track of my stitches or whether I'm knitting/purling though)
-a "can you make jewellery out of this" kit (I'm thinking aesthetically pleasing items not intended for jewellery that could work well together, or whatever your interpretation is of this), because I like to repurpose, Note: I have a dremel, so it doesn't need to be pre-drilled
-beginner soapmaking kit
-beginner's embroidery kit
-beginner bead felting kit (wet or dry)
-beginer bookmaking kit

Anything from my Wist!

I will <3 anything you send me, of course : D
Thanks! It's a pleasure crafting with you ladies!!

I claim Glojo for a wisty suprise!

This is my 3rd claim with 2 sent...

Hi! Im CrossStitchinMomma and Im live in Tennessee (USA). Im a married 25 year old SAHM of one. Im originally from England so any British candy (if youd like to know what types please PM me!) would be welcome as I cant get it over here! I love anything to do with Victorian or Tudor England. I love to knit. I know how to cross stitch but it generally takes a long time and I like finishing things quickly. I just bought a computerized sewing machine but it is super intimidating to me so I havent really used it yet but Id love to learn how to sew. Anything from my wist would be great too!!!

Okay first things first - if you live in the UK I will happily accept Cadburys Roses or some McVities Plain Chocolate Biscuits!!! I'm really missing British sweets!

This is my biggest wish of all! The Ruffled Skirt - its basically a pencil skirt with some ruffles (in black preferably & please PM me for measurements) from the Spring 07 issue of Adorn magazine. I have the pattern I just need someone to make it for me. PLEASE! I would be your best friend forever lol!

If you have a Victoria Secret gift certificate or gift card that you got for Christmas that you don't want to use or don't need I'm so wanting a bra from there so I'd happily (okay super happily!) take it off your hands for you!

Cross Stitch:
 - 11 count colored (it has to be colored) aida cloth (this is a present for my great grandmother who has bad eyesight but loves to cross stitch - as its a gift please make sure that the aida is in an unopened package) I can't find colored Aida anywhere and I need to send it out for Christmas soon as its going to England. If possible I would like at least one but more than one would be absolutely fantastic!!!
Thanks Greiney and more is always welcome!

Some skeins of any soft good quality yarn you can find (my favorite colors are black, purple and I like the rainbow colored yarns too but any color will do as long as its not turquoise, yellow, orange or anything neon yuck!)

Id like to learn how to knit cables so some cable knitting supplies would be great. Pending!

Patons Cashmere, Soy Silk, or Wool  yarn (please PM me for colors but pretty much anything would be okay)

Any other brand of wool (i.e. Lions Wool, etc) would be great too but again please PM for colors.

Some Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted Yarn for my upcoming project (the Celtic Tote from IK Winter 07) - Please PM me for colors as I'm not quite sure what color I'm making it yet...

Anything with Victorian ladies on it would be great.

Some fabric with four leaf clovers or Ireland (the word Ireland not actually Ireland itself lol) so I can make a purse for my best friend.

Books/Magazines/DVD (used is perfectly fine!):
A beginner book on felting
A beginner sewing book with lots of details, diagrams and descriptions! (Im a sewing machine virgin!) *I was claimed for this but more are always welcome!* - I now have Sewing for Dummies so I no longer need that but other books are welcome.
A beginner dressmaking/clothing how to book.
Knitting on the Edge by Nicky Epstein
Knitting over the Edge by Nicky Epstein
Knitting beyond the Edge by Nicky Epstein
Any funky/hip knitting books like SnB or SnB Nation stuff like that.
I'd love to have this book! Mason-Dixon Knitting book by Kay Gardiner and Ann Shayne
The Knitting Answers book (again not sure who wrote it)
Alternaknits by Leigh Radford
Last Minute Knitted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson
A DVD that shows me how to use my sewing machine!
101 Designer One Skein Wonders!

Crafted Items:

A wipe off rewards chart that is maybe magnetic too so I can reward my son for good behavior/ potty training.

A nice jewelry box that has storage where you can hang necklaces in it (crafted out of wood and preferably stained a cherry wood color). This can either be a crafted or a bought item. I'll post a link for an example if requested as I'm trying to find a nice one.

Pyramid studs & Plaid purse (a plain black purse or maybe some cute retro circle print would be great like this too but I really like this plaid material): https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=55325.0
This can be crafted or bought. I'm not a huge fan of the color of this one though. I'd like a black or a purple one preferably. http://store.knitting-warehouse.com/073633.html
I'd like this http://store.knitting-warehouse.com/074074.html

One of these or something similar would be great as I have a large yarn stash and its all stuffed in my sewing desk. http://store.knitting-warehouse.com/074080.html

This would be nice for knitting on the go! http://store.knitting-warehouse.com/085525.html

I would love this (please PM me for sizes & colors) http://www.burdastyle.com/creations/show/1447

This would be SO cute! I would love this in these colors http://store.knitting-warehouse.com/344921.html

BIG WISH! Hanging Star Candleholder (more than one if you want to) (I really like the colors pictured for these but other colors would be okay too - please PM me) - http://cgi.ebay.com/Hanging-Star-Tea-Light-Candle-Christmas-Lantern-Green_W0QQitemZ140175499495QQihZ004QQcategoryZ10935QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem - Pending! Thanks bkrenning4! More are always welcome!
Some of these socks - http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-firestarter

SUPER BIG HUGE WISH! If you are a master of the sewing machine (I'm not!  ) I'd love for someone to make this. My best friend is not feeling well as she has some health issues so this would be a fantastic pickmeup for her! A cute purse with some sort of Irish theme for my best friend who loves Ireland and has a purse obsession. 4-leaf clovers or the word Ireland on something is usually what she likes the best. Maybe a green cordorouy purse with Ireland on it or something like that. PM me for ideas!

The amigurumi butterfly girl shown here - https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=206251.msg2202969;topicseen#msg2202969

I would love one of these (in black & with the oriental theme would be nice) - http://www.lanternmoon.com/SNC.asp

I would totally love this and I would like be your best friend forever (or something like that) if you made this for me! Stained glass Union Jack (this would be great to hang in my window) - http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6311151

Id love just the British Charm (I love this too!) http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6732827

A black messenger back with retro circles on it. Please PM for other colors and possibly an example if  I can find one.

A mail/bill organizer or a desk organizer with places to put pens, store paper, etc. Something that has at least a few pockets for mail and pens and is long and magnetic. I was thinking maybe something like the beside caddy looking only longer and with more pockets (or like the wall organizer but smaller and thinner with super strong magnets) If you're interested in making this I can go into more detail if you PM me.

This one can be bought or crafted. If someone knows how to make or would like to buy one - a lapdesk would be wonderful. They sell these for like $10 at Hobby Lobby too if you need to see what they look like. Theres a pic on this link too - If you are wondering what a lapdesk is its this thing (it doesn't need to have a cup holder and just plain material would be fine)...http://img.inkfrog.com/click_enlarge1.php?image=ldparislg_(Small).JPG&username=sharps_container_supply&aid=13168672

Some black and white photographs of old English churches or houses (preferably the ones made of stone or houses with thatched roofs). I know this one is a long shot but I can dream! Just so you get an idea Id like them all to be relatively uniform because I want a set of 3 to 5 to put in a photograph cluster on my wall. Here are a few examples:

Misc. Wish List -

SUPER WISH! Some 3M Brushed Nickel Command hooks that are the size that hold coats. One would be great to start out but I'll ideally need 3 total.

3M command hooks - the large or the medium. I like the designer style the best please.

A DIY beginner yarn dying kit. A yarn dying how to book would be great too. I love all of these hand dyed yarns that are so beautiful and I'd love to give it a try!

A beginner amigurumi kit. Crochet would be okay as I am learning but if you have any patterns for a knit amigurumi that would be great too!

A little devil amigurumi kit (or it would be nice if someone could just make me the little devil amigurumi!).

BIG WISH!!! Wallflowers (refills or starter kits) from Bath & Body Works - Any scent is good but just not Fig, Cinnamon or anything spicy or musky smelling. I like the black vanilla rasberry, pink grapefruit, pearberry (anything fruity really) or anything with vanilla the best.

My son is 2 years old and he loves anything with Bob the Builder. He also loves trucks and motorcycles.

BIG WISH! A Thomas the Train piggy bank or a Bob the Builder piggy bank. Okay pretty much anything thats a piggy bank that relates to tools, trains, trucks, cars, dinosaurs, monster trucks, Fisher Price little people or anything like that would be fantastic! Oh and if it plays music that would be even better!!!!

BIG WISH! Fisher Price little people sets (my son has the barn, the garage and the ABC school thingie) or the little people by themselves. They can be gently used but new would be awesome!!!

A dinosaur amigurumi or a Bob the Builder amigurumi.

Okay this one is a far out one but I'd really love The Boleyn Inheritance by Philippa Gregory on CD if anyone is done with it and would like to pass it on to me I would be so so so happy!

Anything with dinosaurs for my son...

Thanks in advance to anyone who picks anything from my list!!!

I claim CrossStitchinMommma for some Wallflower refills and yarn. This is my second claim, with 0 sent, 0 received.

Im in the USA.

-BIG BIG GINORMOUS WISH: A green knitted, reinforced, sturdy bag for my Apple laptop (which is about 8 by 11 big, and 1.5 thick.) Green striped would be amazingor just in other tones of dark green.
-A wallet! Like one of these. Fun fabrics are always welcome, but no pink, please. I hate pink.
-Cool, unique earrings. I love earrings! A necklace would be nice, too, as long as it is original, attention-grabbing, and LONG. I love these types of pendants. As long as theyre nice and LONG. I hate short necklaces.
-Finglerless gloves! An amazing color combination would be off-white and green, but any color (besides pink) would be good.
-Handpainted/stenciled t-shirts. I love t-shirts! The more, the merrier! I would especially love t-shirts that have pictures of my favorite music artists on them and say Today is SINGER NAME Day! For example, a shirt that has a stencil of Frank Sinatra, and says underneath his picture: Today is Frank Sinatra Day! I would love that. Or a shirt that has lyrics on it (example: a shirt that said Shake it up, baby on the front and had a stencil of the Beatles on the back, with the words Twist and Shout beneath them) (I wear size XL)
-YET ANOTHER BIG WISH: An I Love Shyguys shirt, like this one. Because, yes, I do have a shyguy crush of my own.
-A hand-painted thermos would be muy bueno.
-A homemade journal or decoupaged/painted notebook.
-I am, in fact, addicted to cute, bright, clever iPod cozies. Thanks, cindy_23492!
-A bright-colored, floaty, casual skirt that hits past my knees (like, something I could wear to school). A circle skirt would probably be perfect!
-Homemade beads! That would be fun.
-A crafty case for my camera.

-BIG WISH: A heat gun! Oh my, I want one of these so bad. It may just be wishful thinking, but Ill put it here anyway.
-I would really love some Shrinky Dinks. I cant find any anywhere! Yeah, Shrinky Dinks would be cool.
-Bright, unusual-colored felt. I have all the standard colors that my local Wal-Mart offers, but that isnt much. I dont even have any blue!
-Chain-type things for making jewelry. Im not sure what theyre called.
-Rubber-maid containers. I love those things!

About me: I dabble in all sorts of crafts, but Im not really expert in anything. I love Disney! My favorite color is green! I love dark, foresty shades, especially paired with off-white and browns. Im pretty big on earth tones at this point in time. Right now I am kind of wanting practical things I can use, so no toys or trinkets, please.

Thank you in advance for picking me!

I claim hdcase for buttons (new and vintage) and a long clay cutting tool

This is my 1st claim this round

Big wishes in bold lettering:

NEW: I got a sewing machine for Christmas (my bf rocks) but the thing is, its my first so I have nothing: I need thread, fabric and whatever else you need to seriously start sewing. So absolutely everything is welcome.
My goal is to make a dress for myself for a friends wedding in July.

NEW: My bf needs caps and bandanas (in boyish colors) for his head. He just underwent chemo for leukemia.
On that subject, I would really like to remind all of you to donate blood as well as platelets (leukemia patients need a lot of transfusions), also for those of you who have considered donating organs, please consider getting yourself on the bone marrow donor registry (http://www.marrow.org/HELP/Join_the_Donor_Registry/index.html). My bf is lucky enough that both his brothers are a match but other patients need the help of strangers. Thank you.

Felted bag: something small like Amandas squatty sidekick (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=187674.0)
A basket to keep my wips under control (in whatever medium youd like)
   A hand-painted or customized mug
   A kimono inspired hoodie like this https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177160.80;
knittys knucks ( a little longer at the cuff, if possible) http://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer06/PATTknucks.html
   Painted light bulbs
A pair of flannel pajama pants
Softies of realistic animals (jungle or farm animals, always a hit) for the lovely children in my life, and there is quite a few of those, so the more, the merrier.
A pair of knitted socks (I cant seem to be able to do that)
A skirt, I prefer knee-length, PM for measurement. Id love something like that http://www.wists.com/Poerava/e97f1f125f6abe4e4c87a0213146e011 , solid dark color with embellishment.
   Thrummed mittens
A bag big enough to take to my bfs on the week-end (hold 3 change of clothes, hairbrush), Id love something with a corduroy fabric and some embellishment.

You can check my wists  http://www.wists.com/Poerava
Glass and ceramic tiles or pieces in green for a mosaic (the coffee table needs upgrading)
A beginner embroidery kit ( I am really not all that good with tiny needles like that)
   Shrink plastic
Fabric covered buttons that would work with this color http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2347/1545488944_9e326e5825_m.jpg
   Split ring stitch markers
White fleece (if you something kinda furry its even better), enough to line a hood and make cuffs.
   White  and glitter fabric paints

I am 26 years old and have been living in Chicago, IL for the past 2 years. I am originally from France, I have also lived in London, Germany and Tahiti (dont hesitate to send goodies from those places; I really miss a lot of things).
I am a nanny, so I tend to be very practical (no frilly, girly things in my wardrobe, sticky fingers are not forgiving). I like soft pinks, browns, reds and neutrals, blues are great too, no greens please. I love to read, fantasy and sci-fi in particular and I am a bit of a TV addict.

I claim dontlookback for a DIY garden kit

this is my first claim!

Hey! Im Melissa from California (USA) and am 23 years old. I just broke up with my boyfriend (no boo-hoos needed...he was kinda a jerk) and am back living with my parents till I can save some money and find a new place to live. When I find a new place, Im planning on doing my room in a kinda modern theme with lots of house plants...mostly white but with splashes of bright pink, green, orange and yellow.
I am not a vegetarian, but am very food conscious and try very hard to only eat organic and sustainable foods. I have a one cat that sleeps on my bed every night and gets very annoyed when you roll over in the night. I love music, reading, and being outside. My main crafting skills are scrapbooking and stuff with modgepodge, but Ive tried a little bit of everything.

My Wish List-

-A patchwork tote bag similar to this one http://www.2freshpetunias.com/product_info.php?products_id=341
With similar colors (pinks, whites, greens, etc.) big enough to throw in a bottle of water, some books, a first aide kit, and some notebooks (Im a substitute teacher).

-Other tote bags decorated in anyway but still washable

-Those cute little magnets made from marbles.

-Mini clay food (sushi or desserts) charms I could add to assorted stuff.

-Fun long necklaces with large, bright pendants of any media.... similar to or in the same genera as these (with silver findings.... I dont ware gold):

-embroidered pillowcases in similar style to this

-clay or pottery dishes in above mentioned color scheme in assorted sizes and shapes to plant assorted grasses, moss and houseplants in my room

-a lunch bag/box

-an overnight duffel-type bag. ( I currently use a Rubbermaid tub because I own NO forms of luggage)...Id love something glittery/sequiny

-Soy candles in either unscented, or flowery/fruity scents

-Magazine cutouts pictures/clippings for collages in pinks/greens/white/orange/yellows

-handmade soaps

-small cat toys with catnip in them

-scrapbook papers/stickers/die-cuts in nature themes. Im currently working on my album from my job as an outdoor school/science camp teacher.

-kits for candle making

-anything you think I might like or stuff I could put in my new room!!!

THANKS in advance to anyone who picks anything from my list!!!
