This is my first attempt at making gloves and I'm so pleased with them!  I've never attempted gloves before - I always thought they were too tricky - but this pattern from Louisa Harding's Gathering Roses Accessories collection was so easy to follow.  And the fingers even fit!

Thanks for looking

(there you go! you just click the 2nd icon on the 2nd row that looks like a little picture frame, [ img ] will appear and you insert the link to the image between those)

I love the yarn! It's so pretty.  I'm not patient enough for gloves but I really need some.  Tongue

Wow! I really like the hat with your gloves. They are all beautiful. Grin

Oh thank you sooo much!  I'm going to spend the next few days off totally learning how to upload pictures onto here.  I'm so glad I've found craftster - it's so nice to find so many like minded (and slightly nutty, when it comes to crafting) people.  Like, where else could I confess that I've just spent 30 on vintage buttons from ebay?  Obviously I'm going to tell my other half I got them for a fiver!  But I think I've ordered about 100 of the little beauties!  Anyone else would think me mad but I've got a feeling many of the people here will understand.

Those gloves are lovely. I've knitted with that yarn. I love the colourways, the lightness and the warmth... but the mohair was so itchy I had to give my gloves away.  Cry.

Lovely gloves though.
