So I made this bag/purse for a friend. I love how it turned out but I am not sure how to do the straps. I think I want to do it this way (tie it), what do you guys think?

well, personally i love the strap tied.
but... if you want, you can put in a button hole and several buttons so she can adjust the strap to the length she wants

I like the straps as they are!  The fabric you chose is lovely as well!  Grin

I think it looks great with the straps tied.  I have this exact same fabric too and I love it!  I also love to use gingham for linings, it's so cheery!

I like it as it is. Very cute fabric.

Maybe try it to make sure the knot isn't going to dig in on the shoulder when the bag has some stuff in it though.

Thank you for all your comments. I really appreciate them! Smiley

I know, I found the fabric and just bought it randomly (which happens a lot) and finally decided this was what I was going to make. I love the results!

That works- especially with the fabric you are using. Smiley
