I saw this a few days ago and haven't been able to post due to spybot fighting with my browser.  But man, I keep on thinkin' about it!

Really neat project, I would love to sit down and play with it and see what kind of goodies you've put inside.  It's like treasure in book-shape.

woah, thankyou Smiley sadly the "treasures" are all over the place in other sketchbooks at the moment... I collect things wherever I am, old postcards, people's thrown-away shopping lists etc., it's a bit obsessive. I should photograph them, eh? Wink I'm hoping to get back to this one in a big way soon. I'm so scatty though...

glad you liked it, anyway. hope it's an inspiration, & again, thanks everyone!

This is really a lovely idea, and I'm so glad that you took pictures so we could all share in the process. It looks like it took an enormous amount of time and labour, and you have a beautiful result.

absolutely beautiful!
I am glad I'm not alone in my rust addiction.
Or random things that I think are beautiful but a lot of people think are just junk.
Truly inspirational.
