In the past three months I was able to use ideas from other users to make a mario quilt for my boyfriend's Christmas present. It isn't perfect, but considering it is my first quilt, I'd say I did pretty well.

I'm addicted to DDR. I need a 12-step program.

Words cannot say how much I love this! How can you not love Mario? Excellent first quilt!

But we have flamethrowers. And what this indicates to me, it means that at some point, some person said to himself, "Gee, I sure would like to set those people on fire over there. But I'm way too far away to get the job done. If only I had something that would throw flame on them."

I can't even tell you how much I NEED this! You are very talented. I've tried quilting, more than once even. I never had anything turn out like this! Incredible job! I hope your boy loves it!

I cut far too many squares for this quilt, so if they dont sell by themselves on ebay, I will probably make individual blocks and try to sell them. Probably Mario, the Goomba, maybe even the 1-up. Im not too sure yet.

my blocks were 3x3, with half an inch seam so they ended up being 2x2.

I will most likely be making sections of the mario quilt if my squares do not sell on eBay. If that happens, I will be more than happy to swap with multiple people. You could have one center block of mario or a goomba, and then build around it yourself Smiley

There is no way I could make a quilt that huge in a loooooooooooooooooong time.
