Modern wedding quilt made for our very good and very artsy friends Aaron and Jenn. I used freezer paper for the large shapes. I folded square pieces of if into half, half again, and half again, just like a snowflake and then cut the pattern for the diamond. I think they turned out lovely!

I hand quilted the entire things with embroidery thread in little "x"s and a big running stitch. This was a great tv/movie watching project! And I think I finished it in about a month's time from start to finish.

I've blogged about it here :  http://www.stitchriprepeat.blogspot.com and will do another post very soon with the finished details.

If you are working on (or thinking about starting) a postage stamp quilt with 1.5" squares, I have scraps and squares to give away.  PM me if you're interested.

This is so unique.  I can't belive how quickly you completed it, considering all the detail and hand quilting.  It is great!
