Here's a quilt I just finished for my sister for Christmas.

And here is one I made last month for my daughter.

This quilting stuff is addictive! Smiley

Can we see another picture of your sister's?  It looks like a pattern I've been wanting to make.  I really like the color combo you used on both quilts.

Those quilts are INCREDIBLE! I especially love your fabric choices; your daughter's quilt is very restful, and your sister's quilt just POPS. Smiley

I love your quilts.  They are both beautiful - and thanks for putting in more pix on your sisters.

Thanks so much! There are definitely errors; who knew working with 60 degree angles gets tricky sewing! It took a few blocks to realize how to shift the rows. I used a pattern for my sister's quilt. I can't think of what it's called, but if you're interested, let me know and I'll find it. I used a jelly roll for that quilt. Those things are awesome! You get to sample a little bit of everything.

the fabric is absolutely gorgeous! very much my style (hint hint)  Wink   i've wanted to quilt, so i started small with tiny swatches of fabric and making oven mitts and needle rolls, but the actual quilting part is a pain in the A.  do you have a plain sewing machine or a fancy one?  Huh  i'm obviously a newb.

Thanks! Right now I have a plain sewing machine (Huskystar). It was a bit of a pain quilting my sister's because it is about a twin size. But it was definitely doable. I'm hoping to get a new machine for Christmas - we'll see!

Here is the pattern I used (I found the pattern at a local quilt shop and it was cheaper than it is here):

It is called Jelly Roll Diamonds Quilt Pattern by Fig Tree Quilt

Thanks! I found it at a local quilt shop here in McKinney, TX. I believe it's Alexander Henry but I'm not certain.

Those quilts are awesome! You did so well. And I love that you used Bleeker Street for the second quilt. You're daughter is a lucky little girl to get that quilt.  Wink

You're from McKinney? I'm from the UK, and went there for an exchange when I was 15. I loved it so much!
Back to the quilts, I absolutely adore the one for your daughter, it just really 'clicked' for me. That's not to say that the other one isn't gorgeous Smiley
